Then we saw the area around the fish market where you can find so many shops about sea things of course but also on so many other activities, and there is also of course the many restaurants including a good number of fish restaurants, with several Sushi bars. Then it was time to leave for Kamakura which makes us going over the rainbow bridge I had seen the day before, and let us get a glimpse of the city of Yokohama which is the second city in Japan with 3.5 millions of people. We then arrived at Kamakura where we did saw the Tsurugaoka temple, which is really huge and which have several little shops around, and of course has all the things we had seen on the previous temples. We then went to eat in a small European restaurant where we had a meal that was not Japanese, but still very nice. Finally we went to see the Daibutsu Den which has a huge bronze Buddha statue which pictures will speak louder than words. We then took the road again for our final destination of the day which is Hakone where we’ll be staying in a Ryokan. That is where we discovered really famous Japanese things like the pleasure of wearing a Yukata see my picture on the left, and also the very fine pleasure of the Onsen, where you come to relax in a water which is at 42°C, just a few minutes before getting under cold water, and doing that cycle two or three times which is really very nice. Finally we had a traditional diner which means we sat on the floor to heat, before going bat to our room to sleep on Futon over tatamis. In a room that was really huge just for me where I’m getting ready to go to sleep while I’m writing this as I can’t put them directly on internet.

http://picasaweb.google.fr/avandoorine/JapanDay3

Third day of the trip with to begin a last visit in Tokyo to discover the fish market of Tuskiji a place that I would compare to a “ruche” with so much activity that for us simple visitors we had to be very careful with all the vehicles going all over the place at very […]

[3
