Day 9 / Jour 9

New day of visits with to begin the morning a trip by bus to the seaside where we took a sea shuttle to join the island of Miyajima, we there first discovered the huge sanctuary on stills of Itsukushima, then we climb the path that took us to the temple of Daisho-In which is hidden up in the mountain, then we did start going back toward the port by using another road that took us inside the forest where once again we could see a lot of deer, we made a stop at the bottom of the five stages pagoda, before going to the restaurant where we ate grilles oyster and combs. It was then time to go back to the center of Hiroshima for a less fun time, but very important as we went to what could be called the ground Zero over which the first atomic bomb was dropped by Americans, we could discover the peace dedicated monuments as well as the ruin of another building that showed the power of the explosion. After that we visited the Memories and Peace Museum which showed how huge the impact of the bomb have been and its horrors, which Japan is probably the most important voice against those weapons and there is in fact a flame that will still be lighted until there exists nuclear weapons. We then after this very important visit got back to the main station of Hiroshima to take the train for Kurashiki where we ate, before going out and having another try at the Japanese way of doing Karaoke.

Nouvelle journée de visite avec aujourd’hui pour commencer un trajet en bus qui nous a mené à l’embarcadère afin de prendre la navette pour l’île de Miyajima suite à une traversée en ferry pour rejoindre cette dernière, nous avons d’abord découvert le très grand sanctuaire sur pilotis d’Itsukushima, après cela nous avons pris le chemin des hauteurs de l’île afin de découvrir le temple de Daisho-In niché en pleine montagne, suite à quoi nous avons pris le chemin du retour vers l’embarcadère en prenant toutefois un chemin en pleine nature dans la forêt de l’île qui est elle aussi peuplées de nombreux daims, nous avons fait étape sur le chemin du retour au pied de la pagode à cinq étages avant de faire un arrêt dans un restaurant local où nous avons pris notre repas à base de congre et d’huitre fris. Nous avons ensuite repris la route du centre d’Hiroshima pour une visite bien moins amusante mais au combien importante de ce que l’on pourrait appeler le ground Zero, point au dessus duquel la bombe atomique des américains à explosées, avant de découvrir les monuments dédiés à la paix ainsi que vestige de l’explosion pour le souvenir. C’est après cette découverte que nous avons visité le musée du souvenir et de la paix, un musée présentant les horreurs de l’arme nucléaire que le Japon est bien le premier à condamner, et dont la flamme ornant l’un des monuments du parc mémorial, brûlera tant que la menace des armes nucléaires n’aura pas disparue. Nous avons après cette visite historique important rejoint la gare et pris le train pour Kurashiki où nous avons mangé, et avant de dormir nous avons pu retrouver un Karaoké non loin de l’hôtel et en remettre une dose ce soir.
